26 September 2013…..Our summer 2012 petition objective has been achieved. After 15 years of Sirus Taghan, his one unused planning consent for Medina House, various schemes, refused planning applications and refused appeals against their refusal, we now have this piece of policy guidance which the owner of Medina House will have to take into consideration.
Please click on the the link above to read it and keep it in favorites or print it off so you can quote from it if/when the application for a 7-storey block goes in at the end of September as Sirus Taghan told the Argus would be the case. If he submits such a plan it would be in open defiance of this brief.
Should we have yet another application from the owners of Medina House which seeks to steamroller over the rights and needs of neighbouring properties, let alone our wish to retain and have Medina House restored and in use again, the case for compulsory purchase will be very strong.
