Sackville Tower proposal: The Impact Views!

10.2.16…..Despite entreaties, I bet many are not wading through the documents online to inspect claims, CGI’s, all the bumpf or even a sampling of it.  If however you believe that this unnerving application should be refused, please email your objection to planning.applications@brighton-hove.gov.uk, providing the planning ID BH2015/04414.  What was your reaction to seeing the images below?  Put that into words for your objection!
In an initial post on this application (once registered), reading the Planning Statement along with the  Design & Access Statement was recommended as a starting point.  The Townscape and Visual Impact Assessment is online, broken up into 4 links.  This too is a next step to give a viewing to. Within Table 7: Potential Effects on Visual Amenity the magnitude of change for users of seafront is judged to be “Minor.  The change would be distinguishable from the surroundings, but only minor changes to the composition and character of view“.  Hmmm.  Really?
These two images come from pts 3 and 4.  Enjoy!
